Dr Johnson famously said, “No man but a blockhead ever wrote, except for money.”
It’s a bold statement and I’m not going to argue with the man who wrote one of the most influential English dictionaries. However, I will say, I haven’t written this story for money. I’ve written it to entertain myself and, hopefully, it’s going to entertain a handful of readers.
It’s here under the name of ‘Mickey’s Pies & Pastries’ because my wife didn’t like the working title of ‘Pies and Prejudice’. Let me know if you enjoy the story and, if it works for you, please tell your friends if you think they’ll enjoy it.
